I’m finally sharing this Junipero Serra Museum wedding editorial I photographed in San Diego. This was the last shoot I photographed in early March just before the COVID-19 shutdown. If I’m going to go out, at least it was a good one!
I don’t work with professional models often, but when I do it’s always a great opportunity to push myself creatively and grow as a photographer. Afterwards, I pour over the work I’ve created and critique it fiercely. I study the way a professional model moves, the angles they create, the delicate placement of their hands, the way they take direction, and how they connect with me behind the camera. All of this knowledge is then applied to my wedding and portrait shoots. Always learning my friends, always learning!
