There’s a special kind of joy when you get to photograph a family you know. Photographing families is quite personal. If you are one of the lucky ones, you get to watch their children and families grow from season to season in their lives. I get to be there for many of the big moments ~ marriage, starting their families, and then growing those families. It’s a blessing and a treasure to get to share these occasions.

On our sessions, there is so much more than photography happening. In many cases we share very personal stories, we share about our families, life experiences, work, you name it. A foundation of friendship is poured and that’s the best part of all of it. Connection. Sharing life and making long term friendships. This is when the magic happens, the connection we make is portrayed through their images in an authentic way. These are the best parts, the REAL moments.

This beautiful family gave it to me all the way. Together we walked and talked and laughed our way through Zilker Botanical Garden sharing stories and making memories. Mama warned me little Langston is a firecracker. He was perfect, and silly, and inquisitive like every three year old should be. These are the best parts, the real and the raw. This day we celebrated the last few days of your family of three before you become a family of four. These are the best years…thank you for sharing them with me.
