Every person I photograph has a story all their own. The conversations I share with my clients I get to photograph is the best part of what I do. I learn so much about people…their stories, their journeys, their triumphs, struggles, joys, and fears. It’s a gift to take a moment and step into the shoes of someone else. Photography, for me, goes much deeper than pretty clothes and cute baby bumps. I knew when I decided to ditch the props and focus solely on the connection and intimacy of the person in front of me it would open up a whole new world. I had to go the direction my heart told me, put myself out there and fearlessly become my own brand. I have always considered myself an introvert, a people loving introvert. I’m amazed and inspired by the people who stand before me, allowing me in their personal space, sharing their stories, trusting me, and giving me their all.

This beautiful mama’s story is hers to tell. I can tell you she is an extraordinary woman with a heart of gold and she is going to be an amazing mother to her little girl. I feel a connection to her. I met her for only a moment and felt like I had somehow known her longer. Thank you, Haley
