I recently photographed a styled editorial at River Bottoms Ranch in Midway, Utah and immediately fell in love with the venue. River Bottoms Ranch wedding venue is family-owned and operated, and it has one of the most majestic backdrops I have ever photographed! Mt. Timpanogos sits in the distance behind the barn and turns a deep purple as the sun sets, making for some absolutely gorgeous wedding photos. Gambrel Barn at River Bottoms Ranch

The main venue space at River Bottoms Ranch is the beautiful white gambrel barn. Immediately upon entering the barn you are greeted with a grand staircase leading to the bridal suite; the perfect spot for dramatic bridal portraits. The barn’s great hall can comfortably hold up to 200 seated guests, and can serve as the ceremony space, reception space, or both!  With white shiplap walls, oversized windows, and beautiful farmhouse chandeliers, the great hall in the gambrel barn is perfect for a chic rustic wedding.

Outdoor Ranch Weddings

If you’d prefer an outdoor celebration on your wedding day, River Bottoms Ranch also offers a stunning 2,200 square foot pavilion. The structure has a stable floor for your guests to dance on and beautiful exposed white beams on the ceiling. You can place dinner tables under the pavilion or set them up under some bistro lights in the field next to it to leave even more room for your guests to party.

Just steps away from the pavilion is a small pond, which can serve as a lovely backdrop for your outdoor ceremony. Or, turn your ceremony the other direction and use the gorgeous double doors of the gambrel barn as your backdrop! You can even choose to use a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces on your wedding day to create your dream floor plan.
