Erica and William

Photographing motherhood is such a gift to me. As a mother of two, I deeply treasure the photographs I have of my children with me.

They are preserved treasures of a season of time in our lives together. All of us growing together in different ways.

So often, our days as mothers is filled with teething, tears, sleepless nights, teaching, and care taking. Those less than glamorous moments of reality can overshadow the sweet simple moments that stand out the most in our hearts.

Getting to document those tender, beautiful moments for other mother’s is something I’m truly grateful for and this session with Erica and her little guy, William, was no exception.

We spent a beautiful morning together in the glow of all the sunshine that poured in from the big beautiful windows of the incredible, Pearl Snap Hall.

Just the two of them, snuggling, playing, and sharing a moment. These are the days and the moments we want to remember forever.

Thank you, Erica, for allowing me the opportunity to preserve your legacy. It is my greatest wish that you look back on these images through the years and  you will be transported back to a moment in time.
