It’s another edition of Wedding Wednesday, and I’m talking all about the must have photos of the bridal party!
Your bridal party consists of your closest friends and family members. I call these people the EVP’s (extra valuable people) of the wedding day! It’s so important to create time in your wedding photography to capture these very special people. I have created a must-have shot list of the wedding photos with the bridal party.
I love photographing the whole group together! It makes for some dramatic imagery to have a large party of elegantly dressed people. But don’t worry! I’ll take some fun shots too!
The bridesmaids are the brides #bridetribe! I allow time for the bride and all her maids to be photographed together in group shots. Then, I love to break the group apart and capture each bridesmaid alone with the bride! Some of these moments with your bridesmaids are captured during the getting ready portion of the day. Often, all the ladies are wearing matching robes, and we get a fun group photo before everyone gets dressed. Another emerging trend we’re doing is a first look with your bridesmaids. This is a fun way to reveal your dress to your girls on your wedding day. It also makes for the sweetest photos!
Same rules as applies to the bridesmaids.
I’m always on the lookout for those candid moments between you and your people! Your maid of honor fluffing your dress. Your bridesmaid wiping your tears. Your best man giving you a pat on the back just before you see your bride walk down the aisle!
These are the special people you’ve chosen to stand by your side, and you bet I’m going to document them for you!
