Tessa and Mia.
A motherhood on film session.
Why film?
I’ve been shooting film for awhile now and have come to completely fall in love with it. There’s something about it that feels so good. It makes me slow down, focus more, pay attention to what’s filling my frame, and be more patient. In return, I think it’s made me a better photographer.
It’s real and organic and nothing looks quite like it. Film is timeless and classic like that little black dress.
It’s nostalgic and romantic and grainy. Oh, the grain…swoon!
I still shoot with my pro dslr but I’ve been incorporating more and more film into my sessions.
Here are some of my favorites from Tessa and Mia’s mommy and me session.
