An Intimate Wedding at the Little Chapel In the Woods at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. 

When I first pulled up to the Little Chapel In the Woods, my jaw dropped and my heart skipped a beat. This cozy chapel is nestled under piles of oak trees, surrounded by ponds, and wandering paths. It’s soooo pretty! The chapel was built in 1938 and dedicated by Eleanor Roosevelt. There is so much history here.

Kendra and Doug’s intimate wedding was perfect! The two of them were surrounded by their closest friends and family that joined them in celebrating their love and commitment.

I’ve distantly known Kendra for a long time. She is my husband’s sisters best friend (did you catch that)? We’ve heard a lot about each other through the years but never had the chance to meet…until now. What an honor to capture her day!

The first time we spoke on the phone, it was like talking to an old friend. She shared with me her and Doug’s love story. This is no ordinary love story folks! They had both been waiting forty years to meet the ONE! They each knew their person was out there searching too. And then, they met…in church!!!! Y’all! I love a good love story! It gets me sobbing every time!

These two are madly in love, ready for what is to come, and are embracing life as a team. I am so grateful I got to be a part of this wedding. So thankful for a day spent with Kendra and Doug, and all their fabulous friends and family.
