A Classic San Antonio Wedding

This is their story.

Rebekah and Tucker met by chance. She had gone back to her childhood home to visit an old friend who’d just welcomed a new baby. They had another friend who’d also come to visit. His name was, Tucker. “As soon as that handsome man walked in the door I knew I’d marry him.” The next day they met up at a bonfire and that’s when the fireworks began. The rest of that weekend the two of them were inseparable. The night before Rebekah was due to fly back home they spent the whole evening talking and knew they didn’t want this to end. They spent the next weeks talking and video chatting whenever possible. Then, one night during one of those chat’s, Tucker asked Rebekah to marry him. “Tucker is the most selfless and compassionate man I have ever met and we are going to do life together!!”

The days leading up to Tucker and Rebekah’s wedding were predicting rain. For days leading up to the wedding, we were all watching the weather praying the expected rain would clear. But, each time we checked the chance of rain grew higher and higher. We woke up on Friday morning and the rain was forecast at 100 percent. Alas, last minute plans had to be made to move their beautiful San Antonio ranch wedding indoors.

So, in the pouring rain, we headed to our last wedding of 2017! Rebekah and Tucker were incredible and determined not to let the rain keep them from the outdoor portraits they envisioned. Rain and all Rebekah was so relaxed about it all and let me take her outside to get amazing bridal portraits. Patches of rain fell from the sky for their first look but the results were so worth it.

The day was perfect! Their wedding was moved into her grandmother’s ranch home where all of the guests piled in for an intimate indoor ceremony to celebrate these two beautiful souls and watch them begin their journey together.

Rebekah and Tucker, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to share this special day with you and your unbelievable family and friends.
