Happy Birthday, Miss Evie!

Oh, how much you’ve grown and changed in a short year.

I first met Evie when she came to the studio with her mama and daddy for her newborn session.

This beautiful little girl has a big story and has traveled an inspiring journey.

You see, Evie was born very premature and spent quite some time in the NICU.

And, according to her mama, the doctors usually expect premature babies to be caught up developmentally by 18-24 months.

Evie is caught up at 12 monts. In fact, she is testing at 14 to 18 months! Woohoo!

Evie, you’ve achieved milestones despite your circumstances at lightening speed.

Your eyes sparkle with so much joy and your smile lights up the room.

We finished up this lovely families session by celebrating Evie’s birthday with a big ole cake smash.
