Here I sit this Monday morning in a quiet house enjoying a cup of coffee and the last of the weekends chocolate espresso coffee cake. For the record, chocolate and coffee make a great pairing. As I sit and stare at the last few days of December I can’t help but think, “the days are long but the years are short.” Where has the year gone?
I have so much to be thankful for. A relaxed pace is starting to settle in around the house. The boys are out for Christmas break and we are all under one roof. Nothing makes me happier. Avery has grown and matured so much this year. He literally sprouted up 8 inches. Ethan will be finishing up his last semester before graduation at Texas Tech and he has found his passion in the lab. He’ll be continuing his education pursuing a Master’s degree in molecular pathology. I have no doubt he’ll be working for the CDC someday. My husband, Dan, he is the rock of our family. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe all the things he is to us.
With one last session to end out the year I find myself reflecting on my business. This has been an amazing year of growth and forming new friendships. I am grateful to all the families who have shared their live with me…Thank you.
All of this to say, I’m breathing it all in, enjoying where I am in my life, and excited to see what the future holds for all of us.
Happy Monday friends,
Amy 🙂
