Springtime in May is a tricky time to schedule a photo session in Texas. It’s known for it’s long days of rain just before an even  longer drought of summer heat in sues.

Three reschedules later and on into June we finally got to make magic happen with this beautiful family.

Springtime is outdoor photo heaven. The grass is green and the wildflowers put on a magnificent show.

The sun is warm and brighter, and shines longer into the evening than it has in months.

The birds are singing and the squirrels are running in playful joy.

Then, you sit one beautiful family in the middle of all that flower laden green grass and a love fest will manifest in front of your eyes.

Especially when that love fest includes the most amazing family I’ve been fortunate enough to document since the birth of their big brown eyed baby boy. EEK!

It’s all just a springtime dream.
