Sami.
The first time I laid eyes on this place I knew I wanted to shoot here.
The big dreamy venue is an old church restored by the charming owner, Sarah and her husband, into a quaint venue on Austin Ave. in historic Georgetown, Texas.
The main room is my photographic dream come true with it’s ship lap walls and big windows on every wall allowing all the dreamy light to filter in.
I knew this would be the perfect place to capture Sami’s maternity session.
Sami is a dear friend and holds a very special place in my heart. I first met her as a nursing colleague working side by side in the trenches of our Labor and Delivery unit.
Did I mention she’s an incredible nurse?! Many Austin area families have been blessed with her gentle, kind, and loving care.
I’ve had the pleasure of watching her family grow from a party of two to an almost party of five. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to be there for the birth of her first two babies.
The are the most adorable little guys! I’m crossing my fingers I get the chance to be there this time too! What a blessing.
This time around we are all waiting on pins and needles to see what this little babe will be…boy or girl?! Eek…i can’t wait!
Sami, thank you for being my friend, you are an amazing woman, and incredible mother, and a loving wife.
I’m excited to see this new chapter unfold.
Love you bunches!
This session was captured on both film and digital mediums.
