This is the story of Grant and Vicky.

He met his beautiful bride in England, swept her off her feet, married her and brought her to Texas.

And now, they are an amazing family of three.

A typical newborn session will last about three hours. During that time, I love getting the opportunity to chat with the family and hear their story. The one thing that struck me the most that day was observing Vicky with her new daughter. She’s so calm and relaxed. Motherhood is a very natural with her and she makes it look effortless and easy.

All of us who have had the experience of being a mother knows that those early days with a newborn can be anything but effortless and easy. From the sleep deprivation to breastfeeding challenges and everything in between being new parents can be quite challenging those first few weeks.

Thank you both for sharing the day with me. It was an absolute privilege to photograph your story, one of your biggest life events, and your unforgettable moments.

Meet Savannah…7 days new and she has all the perfect little pieces of her parents. ..soft wispy sprigs of hair, perfectly pink baby skin that smells even better, and the chubbiest little kissable cheeks.
