A Fairytale Wedding at Bear Creek Wedding in Gatesville Texas

Alyssa and Brandon first met on the playground in grade school. We actually joked that we should have done their engagement session on that playground. Their ways parted, and they found each other again many years later. They’ve endured a long distance relationship while Brandon finished school in Dallas. But, nothing kept them from spending every free weekend together.

The days leading up to the wedding were full of rain, and we had some concern that it might rain on their wedding day. But, the weather cooperated and gave an overcast cooler day with NO RAIN!!! Their wedding day was perfect and went off without a hitch! It was a close call with there being a mix up with Brandon’s tux and it being shipped overnight and delivered to the venue just a couple of hours before the wedding…whew!!!

Alyssa chose a beautiful palette of burgundy and blush to showcase her fall wedding held at Bear Creek Wedding in Gatesville, Texas.

The day started with a romantically private first look (minus two photographers and a videographer snapping away…lol!!!). I never get tired of seeing the reaction of the groom when he first sees his bride. Brandon did not disappoint!

The wedding ceremony got a little teary when Alyssa’s grandfather got up to share some love and advice to the happy couple…such a tender moment!

There’s something about the daddy/daughter dance that gets me every time. The emotion on Alyssa’s daddy’s face said it all. Cue the tears!!

What a fun group of people and some serious dance moves I might add!

Alyssa and Brandon, thank you so very much for sharing your day with me and allowing me to capture all the moments. It was absolutely lovely, and Dan and I wish both a long and happy life together!
