A truly unique venue for your special occasion, the Prospect House is located at 12745 Silver Creek Rd, Dripping Springs, TX, and is a short drive from downtown Austin. I must admit this is a favorite venue of mine. Prospect House is the perfect venue if you want something one-of-a-kind for your special day. Prospect House is a modern event space for weddings and private events alike. “Prospect House was designed by award-winning Texas architect Max Levy, known for creating simple yet dramatic modern spaces connected to nature through light, shadow, and breezes.”

HighPointe Estate

HighPointe Estate is one of the newest venues in the area. Located at 5555 Co Rd 258, Liberty Hill, TX it is just a short drive north from Austin. HighPointe Estate is the passion project of Dawson and Leanne Clark. The two became passionate about weddings when their son and daughter-in-law got married. Situated in the San Gabriel River Valley the venue has plenty of space for your wedding.

The Chapel and The Gathering Room were designed with the aesthetic of an updated farmhouse style with unique design features like chocolate trusses, stunning chandeliers, white shiplap walls, and arched windows. The natural light that pours through the chapel is magical.

For those who prefer an outdoor ceremony, there is plenty of gorgeous natural space.

The Gathering room is a large event hall designed in the same aesthetic and the perfect location for a grand indoor wedding reception.

Mae’s Ridge

Another perfect setting for a modern wedding is Mae’s Ridge. It’s located at 3965 Ranch Rd 3232, Johnson City, TX. Mae’s Ridge is a modern barn with an intimate setting. The venue has several outdoor spaces to have a ceremony and it’s also a perfect location for small weddings. The great hall is another blank canvas with white shiplap walls and plenty of natural light. Wedding guests can enjoy cocktail hour with and indoor/outdoor bar and lawn games on the lush green lawn. You’ll need a wedding budget of about $11,000 to book this venue on a Saturday.

The Preserve at Canyon Lake

Located at 14400 FM306, Canyon Lake, TX The Preserve at Canyon Lake is nestled on a 170-acre wildlife preservation. The venue is surrounded by lake views and an abundance of Bald Cypress and Sycamore trees. Your wedding guests can escape the bustling city and enjoy the tranquility of the Preserve.

Mattie’s Austin is a renovated 1940s farmhouse located at 811 W Live Oak St in the heart of south Austin. This historic wedding venue with rich history and southern hospitality is the perfect event space for moderately sized to intimate weddings. There are multiple outdoor ceremony space locations including the lawn and outdoor pavilion. The outdoor pavilion also has plenty of room for cocktail hour. Inside you’ll find Marion Hall which is a lovely backdrop for a wedding reception or even a rehearsal dinner with all your close friends. The hall has 2300 square feet and holds a maximum capacity of 160 people. There’s even enough room for a dance floor and guests to dance the night away under the beautiful ambient light. Mattie’s is the perfect location to stay close to the city conveniences for your guests.

Canyonwood Ridge

Canyonwood Ridge is located in Dripping Springs at 250 S Canyonwood Dr. just minutes from downtown Austin. This hill country wedding venue sits on a ridge top with scenic hill country views. The venue has an indoor chapel and a large reception hall conveniently connected for a seamless transition from one event to the next.
