It’s time for a change.

Seasons change, people change, and mid year my business went through a change. So, with that shift my website was no longer a good representation of my brand, where I am going , and who I am serving. It was time for an update to clearly communicate the new direction of my business. It’s time for a fresh new look.

So what changed? I belong to an amazing group of creative entrepreneurs in a community built by The Rising Tide Society. Their slogan is “a rising tide raises all boats.” They have a refreshing concept that lives the motto of “community over competition.” If you are in a creative industry I can’t recommend this fantastic support system enough. I belong to the Austin chapter and every month we meet and connect on a Tuesday night where we mingle, share, and learn all about how to navigate our creative businesses. Through that community I was introduced to the world of wedding photography and I was bit hard. I’m completely, madly in love with it! Through the summer I had the opportunity to be an assistant and second shoot with some amazing wedding photographers I met through this organization.

In early fall, my husband, Dan, decided to join my team and together we are now officially in the wedding business. By the end of 2017 we photographed two weddings together and we knew in our hearts this was a direction we wanted to pursue in our business.

Are you still offering newborn and maternity sessions? 

Absolutely! What is not changing? My love for newborns and maternity. My heart still beats strong for newborns and I will continue to serve my sweet families, new and “old.” Your snuggly, sweet smelling bundles of joy will always be my passion. That’s where it all started for me and through and through I am a motherhood photographer!

It is my wish that the new website clearly reflects who I serve and what I do. It’s like the nursery rhyme, “first comes love, then comes marriage, next comes baby in a baby carriage.” If it’s got anything today with weddings or babies…I’m your girl!

And on that note, tomorrow I will be announcing a special giveaway to celebrate the changes and kick off 2018! STAY TUNED!!!!
