Ava and Keanu

In May, I had the opportunity to photograph Ava and Keanu’s romantic, elegant, and modern Laguna Gloria wedding photos at  The Editorial Series. This was put together by an incredible team of creatives in the wedding industry. These types of shoots are so fulfilling to my need to continue to grow as an artist, grow in my business, and connect with other like-minded people.

Without the pressure of shooting for my clients I can experiment with new mediums, cameras, lenses, film types etc… perfect those and then apply them to my client work. For this session, I chose to shoot film exclusively and try out two different film stocks to see which one speaks to me and my creative vision more. I think the clear winner for me is Fuji 400h. I love the soft pastel tones and the cooler greens this film stock renders. Plus, the skin tones are a dream and so true to life!
