The Terrace Club Wedding

Stefanie and Jeff’s love story started almost 20 years ago. He was 25, and she was 22 the first night they met in August of 1999.

How He Proposed

“We were getting ready to move. Jeff had come home to get the final things ready and celebrate his birthday. We went out to listen to one of our favorite bands. On the way home, Jeff let me play a bunch of sappy music. That night, I was taking off my make-up, and getting ready for bed, when he told me he had a gift for me. He claimed it was to show his appreciation for moving. When I opened the box, I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it. I asked him multiple times what it was while alternating looks between the ring and him. He said I want you to be my wife. I gave him a big hug, and in my brain, I kept thinking, you have to say yes. So I said yes! I didn’t even know what hand it went on.” – Stefanie

The Terrace Club Wedding

It could not have been a more perfect day. The wedding was held in the picturesque Texas hill country at The Terrace Club.

Stefanie has always had exquisite style and she shook things up with a Gatsby inspired wedding. Everything from her dress, to her details, the decor, and the guests attire painted the scene for her dream wedding. Their Terrace Club wedding was perfect from start to finish.

The day was filled with so much love, joy, laughter, and tears. I also shed a few tears that day. I’ve known these two lovely souls for the last ten years. Stefanie and I met working as nurses on the same Labor and Delivery floor. Our friendship quickly grew, and we both discovered we had a love for running. Together, we trained for over 15 half and full marathons. We spent many Sundays grueling out our long runs together.

Stefanie and Jeff, congratulations! Dan and I wish you an eternity of happiness. It was so special to be part of your day, witness your vows being exchanged, and documenting it all.
