This was such a special wedding for me. Lisa and Charles are both in the military, and they were the recipients of the Weddings For Warriors from the awesome people at Walters Wedding Estates. Weddings For Warriors’ inspiration was inspired by a World War II love story and you can read all about it HERE.

As some of your know, I’m the daughter of a military father and the wife of a military man. I hold a special place in my heart for those that serve our country. It’s not an easy life for sure! So, when Charles and Lisa choose me to photograph their wedding, I jumped for joy!!!! Charles is an Army Signal Officer, and Lisa is an Army nurse…these are my people!!! And I’ll confess, I was obsessed with Lisa’s glamourous style!

Lisa and Charles had the most epic wedding at their venue of choice, Hayes Hollow at Hidden Falls in Spring Branch, Texas.

There were so many memorable moments in the day. Lisa and Charles shared a very special first look. Their closest family and friends surrounded them on a warm and sunny January day. They enjoyed a lovely dinner together under the warm glow of candlelight. The evening was capped off with Billy from DJ connection rocking the dance floor with the best jams!

Thank you, Lisa and Charles, for including us in your special day. It was a joy to document your day and get to know you both. Dan and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
