A Colorful Earth Day Destination Wedding

When you meet your people you just know it. And, these two are MY PEOPLE!!!! The first minutes into chatting with Tiana and Bob over Zoom I just knew I wanted to be the one to photograph their wedding. I hoped they wanted me too! Fortunately, for me, it all worked out!!

When two fun-lovin’ Californians come to Texas to have their destination wedding you know it’s going to be a good time! Throw in a little fact that Tiana is an event/wedding planner and BOOM..it was everything and more! While Tiana is using her made planning skills, Bob is a firefighter working long hours trying to keep California from burning to the ground! Thanks, BOB! On the recommendation of family, Tiana and Bob came to Texas to tour Villa Antonia. Once there, they knew it was their wedding venue!

The Texas weather didn’t cooperate on their wedding day and the ceremony and outdoor al-fresco dinner plans had to be moved inside at the last minute. Thanks, rain! But, these two took it all in stride and I bet if I asked them now they’d say it all worked out perfectly! Thankfully, the rain parted long enough to get some dreamy outdoor portraits!

Tiana put together an incredible team of vendors to see her Earth Day wedding vision come to fruition. I think they did an incredible job!

Their Love Story

They first met when Tiana was working as the event director at the restaurant Bob also) worked at. That was 1/11/2016 and a few months later the story is he got her a neck brace and it’s a long story I’ve yet to hear…lol!

Their first date was over Ramen and apparently, Tiana made that call.

Their perfect date night includes a good day of golf, a fancy restaurant, a shark movie at home after, and Tiana would want Bob to rub her feet.

When I asked Bob what he loves about Tiana he replied, “her soul, her ability to be good at everything she does including. motherhood, and her face. But, asking to choose 3 things isn’t fair with so much to work with.” Anyone else melting with me here?!!! Tiana loves Bob’s awkward sense of humor, charm, and that he always turns around for her.

Tiana and Bob have plans to move to Texas in the future and I’m definitely excited about that!

Congratulations, you two! It’s been a complete joy to get to know you both! We loved having a small part in your big day! We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together!
