My last wedding of April is behind me and boy was it a good one. Jennifer and Darin had a destination wedding at Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa. It’s an exclusive destination, just a few miles outside the hustle and bustle of the city with rolling hills and scenic views. Hyatt Lost Pines is a gorgeous resort, with so many beautiful backdrops.
Jennifer and Darin met through a group of mutual friends in Arizona. Darin lived in NYC at the time, and Jennifer lived in Scottsdale. They hit it off the night they met, but they both thought nothing would come of it. They lived thousands of miles apart. One year later, Darin visited Scottsdale again, and the two of them hung out. Again, they hit it off. A few months later, Jennifer’s company asked her to temporarily move to Chicago. Now, she and Darin were a little closer. They frequently took weekend trips to see each other. A few months later, Darin decided to quit his job, and move across the country to Scottsdale! The rest is history!!
On a beautiful April afternoon, Jennifer and Darin married each other in front of family and loved ones.
The Hyatt Lost Pines Resort is a beautiful place to have your wedding ceremony. There are many options for where to have your ceremony, and each one provides a unique experience. Jennifer and Darin exchanged vows on the lawn amid a circular floral arch and the hotel provided a stunning backdrop.
Afterward, everyone gathered outdoors for cocktail hour before heading inside for dinner. An unforgettable night. The outdoor LBJ pavilion that overlooks Lake Buchanan provided an intimate location for all the couple’s family and friends to enjoy an evening together.
Jennifer and Darin LOVE candy! Sour candy! Airheads, sour patch kids, gummy bears! They skipped the cake cutting and opted for a candy bar at their reception instead!
A full dance floor. After dinner guests danced the night away to live music provided by Uptown Drive.
Hyatt Lost Pines Resort is a picturesque destination that offers an array of indoor and outdoor spaces to host your wedding. From pecan groves to cypress trees, the 8,000-acre Hyatt Lost Pines resort in the heart of the Texas Hill Country was the perfect venue for this couple’s elegant wedding! Beautiful venue, beautiful day, and beautiful couple.
