Jaclyn and Jonathan have strong roots and fond memories together in Gruene, Texas. So, downtown Gruene was the perfect engagement session location for the two of them. I love it when my couples choose locations that are meaningful to them!
We met by the infamous Gruene Hall, Texas’s oldest dance hall, located in the Gruene historic district. Jaclyn and Jonathan showed up in style with their outfit choices. I love a beautiful spring dress and the back of Jaclyn’s dress was the cherry on top! Not to mentions, Jonathan was looking very dapper in his navy jacket! I love that their sweet pup, Moose, came along for the day. Truthfully, this was a very busy day in Gruene with lots of people and activities going on all around us. But these two took it all in stride and made it effortless.
Jaclyn’s family lives three minutes from downtown Gruene and have a private residence along the Guadalupe River. We made her family home the second location for their engagement session and an outfit change. We hit this location with perfect timing about 30 minutes before sunset for that soft, glowing evening light. We ended their session by dipping their toes into the very cold river! I’d say it was worth it!
Jaclyn and Jonathan, I can’t wait for your wedding this fall at The Preserve at Canyon Lake.
