City Strolling on South Congress Ave. with Jennifer and Darin for their Austin engagement session was one for the books!

These two lovebirds are from sunny Arizona. They flew into Austin the evening before a major winter storm blew into Texas. Well, with no other days in their busy calendar to do their session, we had to make it work. And let me say for the record, THEY MADE IT WORK!!!

There are so many incredible engagement session photography locations throughout Austin. Jennifer and Darin opted for a downtown vibe and the iconic South Congress was the perfect location. Of course, we had to get photos by the well-known sign at the Austin Motel. And we couldn’t pass by the architecture at Hotel San Jose’ without a click or two. Also, there’s nothing better than an epic street photo with the Capitol in the background.

I believe it’s important to keep both in mind when planning what to wear. They rocked the fun, flirty, and city chic cool with their black outfits. Jennifer’s fitted black dress paired with an edgy leather jacket is a modern yet timeless look.
