A Romantic Brunch Wedding at Hidden Falls – Hayes Hollow
Zakk + Kindsley’s Hidden Falls – Hayes Hollow Wedding Photos
Zakk and Kindsley were recently married during a magical brunch ceremony at Hidden Falls – Hayes Hollow in Spring Branch, Texas. It’s a beautiful venue with a touch of modern nestled in the Texas oak trees.
They met three years ago at bible study. Zakk was leading a young adults bible study at a a local church in Burnet and Kindsley’s cousin mentioned that she should go to bible study with her and meet “the cute young leader!” Three years later they went on their first coffee date and it lasted almost seven hours. They couldn’t stop talking.
“We took a trip to the coffee shop that we adore and also that we had our first date at. He casually suggested we sit at our first date table! We talked for a bit and had our drinks. He then mentioned that he needed to run to the private school (we both work there) for something that he left in the gym. Also mentioned that there was some kind of teacher training going on so there would be tons of cars (it was a Saturday). We walked into the gym and he challenged me to a basketball half-court shoot off. Of course I said yes and the winner gets to pick where we had lunch. He went and missed (he claims on purpose) then handed the ball to me and walked behind me. I shot it and of course missed terribly and I laughed and spun around to give him another shot. He had hidden the ring in an extra empty coffee cup he snagged from earlier! He was on his knee at half court and with a huge smile proposed. I was so thrilled!”
The day started with Kindsley and her girls preparing for her best day ever in the beautiful bridal suite, while Zakk and his guys were tucked away across the venue in their own suite.
Kindsley and Zakk chose to forego a first look and keep things more traditional. Zakk’s reaction to his bride walking down the aisle toward him was the best…no dry eyes anywhere!!!
The ceremony was followed by a brunch reception full of coffee, chicken and waffles, dances, speeches, prayers, and ending with a bubble exit.
