Documenting maternity sessions for first time parents is full of anticipation and excitement for the unknown adventure that waits you.

This time is filled with so much joy and happiness, fear and anxiety. There is a gamut of emotions on the daily.

That’s how my first session with Yahaira was intoxicating with joy for the baby she and her husband had prayed for.

Now, just 19 months later and baby #2 is on the way. This time around, a little boy to complete their family.

Yes, they are full of joy and excitement. But, they are cherishing these last few weeks as a family of three.

It was super important to include Talitha in the session. Their first little girl they spent years trying to have and the current joy of their lives.

She’s changed so much since I photographed her on her first birthday. This beautiful session can be seen here.

She’s counting, recognizing letters, knows her abc’s, and she’s bilingual!

I know she’s going to be a fabulous big sister!

Here they are, mommy and daughter, soaking up those last few days together before their lives change again.

Mama went to go change her dress and Talitha was too cute for me not to snap a few pictures of to surprise her mama.
