Winter in Texas had been feeling quite damp and dreary, day after day more of the same. Cold and Rainy.

Winter feels long and dark and dreary, and every year I can’t wait for the familiar return of the Texas heat and sunshine.

Then, it came. A little hint of the sun and those days I so long for and love.

Winter has taken an toll on this quaint little park nestled in downtown Austin.

The trees are becoming sparse of their leaves, and the brown earth is beginning to peek through where there once was a bed of lush green grass.

And, although I love the sweet summer so much there is nothing quite like the golden hues that come with the light of winter.

It was the perfect evening to capture this adorable little family in the park. The four of them walked, played, and snuggled their way through a magical session.
