To the Meyer family,

Thank you for showing me such a good time. Thank you for not calling me nuts when I ask you to walk back and forth a dozen times. Thank you for not calling me crazy when I get that  annoying excited voice when I see the beauty in your family coming off the back of my camera. Thank you for not running away when I ask you to toss your kids up in the air. Thank you for humoring me when I ask you to belly laugh at me. Thank you for not batting an eye when I ask you to stomp through the weeds to get to the good light. But mostly, thank you for sharing your love and connection with me. Photographing your family is a joy for me and a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

Amy didn’t just show up and shoot the photos, she helped with everything from the beginning with outfit choices by sending different color schemes and ideas for David, myself and the kids. Amy answered every question I had. The location was beautiful. The kids had an amazing time, and even with four children running around it went smoothly and wasn’t stressful. We all enjoyed spending time together during the shoot as well. We all have such busy schedules that it isn’t often all 6 of us get to spend time together as a family, so it was nice just be together and served as a reminder that we all need to be better about making more time for family.
