Austin Engagement Session At Laguna Gloria.

I don’t even know where to start with these two! Abby found me while searching Pinterest one day. We set a phone call and I’ve never met anyone I instantly have so much in common with! Abby knew she wanted to capture her Austin engagement session at Laguna Gloria. It was a wild ride getting to this day and finally getting to hug their necks in person. Four reschedules for bad weather and a six-hour car ride from west Texas and we finally made it happen. It was pretty magical if I say so myself. I can’t wait for their romantic and intimate wedding in Colby’s hometown of Cuero, Texas at the Proctor-Green House.

How They Met.

“We met the summer going into our sophomore year of high school on a hot day in Cuero, Texas. A few friends and I were driving through the city park to go watch a baseball game when we saw Colby and his friends playing basketball. Lisa, my best friend, had met Colby before and had already told me how badly she wanted us to meet! She thought we would like each other. She was very right about that! We pulled the truck over and called him over. He threw his plain white shirt on (inside out and backward) and jogged over. Long hair, glasses, and braces… He looked so dorky but was unusually cocky! I was much quieter. He kept calling me the wrong name on purpose (“Amber”) to get my attention (he says now). We agreed to play a quick pick-up game. After I scored, he became much more obvious in his pursuit! I was more interested in a friend of his. Colby’s persistence in trying to make me laugh eventually succeeded. He got my number at the end of the game and the rest is history!” – Abby
