The Grand Lady Austin Wedding

When Hannah first contacted me about her wedding she told me she had dreams of a colorful late summer wedding with a joyful and romantic vibe. The Grand Lady Austin wedding venue was the perfect location and I’d say her dreams came true.

Hannah and Michael voiced that they wanted the day to feel and be joyful. The truest representation of who they are as a couple.

Lauren with Day of Lily Weddings and Events did an incredible job of creating the wedding day Hannah and Michael dreamt about. The color palate was pinks, mauves, and greens. Gracen from Everwild Floral came down from Dallas and created floral magic. She brought Hannah’s vision to life with her colorful and joyful floral bouquets and arrangements. The standing florals at the ceremony site provided the perfect backdrop for the couple to exchange their vows and say their “I do’s.” And, speaking of vows, Hannah and Michael exchanged some of the most meaningful and sincere vows I’ve ever heard. One of Hannah’s bridesmaids mentioned during her speech that Hannah is extremely thoughtful with her words…so true!

Personal Touches and Unique Design

Throughout the event, there were touches of personal and unique design. I especially loved the Topo Chico seating chart atop of the gold and glass bookcases. Another lovely design feature was the mix of bridesmaids’ dresses in color, pattern, and texture. Also, the couple opted to have an intimate gathering with their bridal party pre-wedding ceremony to pray and sing hymns together.

The Grand Lady Austin Wedding Reception

The wedding reception took place in The Hall, a newly-built addition to the Grand Lady. Guests enjoyed an evening of good food, great conversation, heartfelt toasts, and a night of dancing. The couple departed under a canopy of sparklers and cheering guests.
