A Classic Blue and White Spring Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding | Montgomery, Texas

Oh, where do I begin? This was a very special wedding for me. Courtenay is the last of three incredible sisters that I’ve been so lucky to meet and photograph all of their weddings. Their families are all so wonderful and it’s been the best reunion every time I get to see them. At the end of the night, Courtenay’s father gave me a big hug and said he was sorry he didn’t have any more daughters for me! I laughed and almost cried from my heart bursting with gratitude.

Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding.

Courtenay and Wesley’s wedding was perfect. They had a classic Bentwater Yacht Club wedding in shades of sky blue and white. Courtenay almost bought a florist shop before she met Wesley, and she made all the gorgeous floral arrangements, including her beautiful bouquet!  It rained all day but they didn’t let that stop them from having the best day ever. Everyone was a trooper and I even got to take everyone out in the rain for portraits! I’d say it was worth it! There were so many special moments. I was touched when Courtenay took a moment during the ceremony to turn to Wesley’s parents and thank them for being incredible people and welcoming her into their family. And, I couldn’t help but notice all the loving glances Wesley sneaks in at Courtenay when she doesn’t even know it. They truly are perfect for each other. These two are fun-loving and easy to please.

 How They Met.

These two lovebirds met on Match.com. Wesley played professional golf and traveled a lot so it took them a while to finally meet. They talked for a couple of months but once they finally met Courtenay said, “it was game over!”

The Proposal.

Courtenay had an idea that Wes may propose and kept asking if he was going to do it. Wesley convinced her that the ring didn’t get finished in time to do it at Christmas. Wes surprised me with the help of my oldest sister. Wesley proposed to Courtenay at her family Christmas get-together on December 19, 2020. Wesley knew Courtenay would prefer to have her family there and with the help of her oldest sister, he made it happen. Courtenay had an idea that Wes may propose and kept asking if he was going to do it. But, Wesley convinced her that the ring didn’t get finished in time to do it at Christmas. SURPRISE!!!

Congratulations, Courtenay and Wesley! It was a joy to have a small part in your best day ever! Here are just a few of my many favorites from your wedding day!
