A Cozy Fall Engagement Session.

I’m so excited to be apart of Jillian and Nick’s wedding on Valentine’s Day 2021! These two very special people were the recipients of the Walters Wedding Estates Weddings for Warriors! In gratitude for their sacrifice, the Walters Wedding Estates have committed to giving away one wedding per reception hall per year to a deserving military couple! As a military family ourselves I am so honored to be part of this beautiful celebration!

We spent a perfect Sunday afternoon together capturing a cozy fall engagement session under the golden trees and falling leaves.

How They Met.

Jillian and Nick met when they were both cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Nick was a senior, and Jill was a sophomore. Nick is now an air defense artillery officer in the US Army.

Their First Date.

“Our first date was dinner in the West Point mess hall (sitting at a table with 10 other people). After that went well, he took me out to IHOP to have breakfast for dinner, and we have now been to more IHOP’s than I’d like to admit. I am pretty reserved when I am first getting to know people, and after going out a couple of times Nick explicitly asked me if I was even enjoying myself and if I wanted to keep seeing him. Poor guy had no idea I was head over heels for him, but I’m so glad he pursued me long enough to crack my shell. He asked me to be his date to a banquet, and a few days later we were “officially” dating.” – Jillian

Jillian and Nick will be getting married on February 14, 2021, at The Milestone in Georgetown, Texas. Jillian told me this is her dream venue and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!
